TRANSPORT
Railway station PA systems not only emit low-volume background music in station foyers, common areas and stores, but also play an essential role in broadcasting announcements of train arrivals and departures. Adverse acoustics on platforms, where noise levels are high and variable, require PA systems based on studies and simulations in order to determine the right type, number, location and power of speakers, and the audio processing necessary for proper intelligibility.

INDUSTRY
In industry, public address systems provide important services, such as voice alarm, which facilitates an orderly and safe evacuation of the premises, or time signalling for shift changes. In addition, it provides other more common ones such as the broadcast of music in offices and visitor areas, or the location and general notices or by areas. Many of the sound points are installed outdoors and in aggressive environments, they must provide a high sound pressure due to the large dimensions of the spaces, they must meet ATEX certifications and have high IP degrees of protection.

PA systems at airports allow the broadcasting of live and recorded messages with high intelligibility to concourses, corridors and waiting rooms. These are units with selection of multiple PA zones, with scheduled announcements which are monitored from several control desks. The PA system is integrated with other airport systems, including flight and security management systems, and plays a key role in the event of an alarm, facilitating evacuations following the pre-defined emergency procedure.
HOSPITALS
In hospitals, healthcare complexes, clinics and nursing homes, PA and intercom systems are used to meet special needs. In addition to the mandatory PA security systems for evacuation in the event of fire, they also need to address tasks such as the location of staff members, information for visitors, local announcements in consulting rooms, intercom functions in operating theatres and X-ray rooms and nurse-patient communication.

In hotels, sound systems provide guests different experiences: music and announcements in the lobby, corridors, bar, terrace and restaurants, connection of personal equipment to matrix-type systems in function rooms and meeting rooms, specific musical environments for spas, gyms and swimming pools, customised sound in guest rooms... all of which is integrated with the compulsory PA voice-alarm system.I n addition, the signalling and video intercommunication systems allow you to identify and communicate with guests at entrances to certain areas like the car park, spa or gym.
COMMERCE
Department Stores, Hardware Store, Sport Stores…. are generally areas with a large influx of public that require intelligible broadcasting, either live or pre-recorded, for commercial advertisement, informative notes, or alarm messages. Normally the hall has a very high roof and it is required a kind of speaker with acoustic wide spread & high sound pressure. Moreover, the Public Address System must cover other zones, such as outdoor areas, car park areas, loading and offloading goods areas... dealing with the broadcasting to either one, several or all zones.
