Loudspeaker types are determined based on the acoustic, mechanical, and installation needs of each space to be sound-equipped, in accordance with the property's needs for both economic and aesthetic reasons. Based on this, the number of loudspeakers, their location, and the assigned power are calculated, depending on the specific acoustic conditions.
The control equipment consists of music sources, microphone desks, and the remaining features required in the performance definition phase (pre-recorded messages, telephone access, etc.). It typically incorporates standard, modular, or Class D power amplifiers to reduce space, weight, and consumption. If the system is centralized, this equipment is housed in standard 19" racks with standardized heights (for example, 12, 27, or 43 u, where 1 u = 44 mm), with the necessary accessories for proper system operation: electrical protections, ventilation, etc.
