As discussed in other articles, the main purpose of a PA system is to broadcast music and voice as clearly as possible. The entire electroacoustic system must be designed to transmit the audio message clearly and intelligibly. This will depend, among other factors, on the quality of our product and the nature of the area to be covered with sound. Therefore, careful attention must be paid to the choice of product to adapt the equipment to the actual needs of the space to be sound-equipped.

In general, a PA system works with only one audio channel when transmitting music and voice (mono), although it can transmit several mono channels simultaneously to different areas. The audio signals it will work with will be musical (BGM, background music, or ambient music), voice (using microphone desks from which live spoken messages are delivered), or pre-recorded (evacuation messages, emergency messages, information messages, advertisements, or alarm or warning tones).
