The OPTIMUS model AXF-240 is a mixing amplifier with eight audio inputs and a 100 V line output of 240 W RMS power, for general public address and voice alarm applications. The audio inputs are five for microphones (XLR connector), with contact priority and selectable phantom power, two of aux level for music or prerecorded messages (RCA connectors) and one 0 dB emergency with maximum priority, suitable in voice alarm situations. It has a security paging relay for the loudspeaker lines with attenuators prepared to broadcast the announcements at maximum power even if they are closed for music. The speaker output is 100 V or 70 V line, and a low impedance 4 Ω output is also available. In addition, it consists of an audio output from the preamp, not affected by the general volume or tone controls, to connect other amplification equipment, as well as input and output to insert an equalizer or a feedback suppressor. It has individual volume controls for each input, bass control, treble control and general output level adjustment. It is equipped with protection circuits for signal peaks, short-circuits, overloads and overheating, and has LED indicators for power, input, output, clip, and protection.
