Ferrocarrils of the Generalitat de Catalunya (FGC) manages, among other infrastructures, the metro and suburban lines that connect Barcelona with the main cities of Vallés Occidental, such as Sant Cugat, Sabadell and Terrassa. OPTIMUS, provider of FGC for years, has supplied sytems for the new Sabadell and Terrassa stations. They are equipped with an OPTIMAX control system, networked and integrated with other services (such as automatic notices), and with different types of loudspeakers for lobbies, hallways, platforms and emergency tunnels.
