In the Optimax3 platform we have implemented all the experience achieved in the most restrictive MRT/LRT and Railways installations done in the last 30 years.
Using Optimax3 platform we can project a completely new PA solution and/or convert a legacy existing system into a new IP based technology system.

UMX-03: DIGITAL AUDIO MATRIX

  • The audio matrix UMX-03 is the central unit of the OPTIMAX2 system, with redundant connection to IP, reception and emission of 4 simultaneous IP audio channels and internal bus of 16 audio channels.
  • As a link to the fire alarm system, it has 3 supervised input contacts, as well as 3 outputs (voltage free contacts) and 1 safety fault relay output.
  • The matrix already incorporates the supervision of lines and power stages of the UMX-2SA cards with two audio outputs, to be installed in their slots (10 in each matrix, main or secondary).
  • The 32 GB of memory allows to store the messages of warnings, evacuation and alarm in MP3, WAV or Ogg-Vorbis format.
  • The matrix is prepared to host a handheld microphone for emergency announcements (Firemen's Microphone) and other optional modules.
  • In addition to the audio inputs to connect into the cards inserted in the slots, it has a USB input on the front to connect a musical source.
  • The CAN bus allows the connection of external equipment, such as the secondary units of the audio matrix itself, microphonic desks for zone control or noise sensors.
  • The matrix can receive VoIP calls (SIP protocol) with zone selection via DTMF.
