The A-228EN model is an 8" ceiling loudspeaker with a metal fire dome and a frameless metal grill. The maximum power is 20 W RMS, with connections for 10 and 5 W by means of a strip. Due to its high sensitivity, it achieves a high maximum sound pressure (SPL) of more than 110 dB.
Internally, the loudspeaker is impregnated with an anti-humidity treatment and the set has IP21C protection against safety risks and environmental influences. Installation is quick and easy, using spring clamps with protective anti-vibration caps and WAGO 221 connectors. The A-228EN model is certified according to EN 54-24 and is part of the range of sound points offered by OPTIMUS for public address and voice alarms systems where EN 54 safety standard must be fulfilled..
