COS Sports Plaza: A Hub of Sports and Entertainment in Panama
The COS Sports Plaza marks the beginning of a new era in sports and entertainment, establishing itself as the most comprehensive sports complex in Panama. Located in Metro Park, Juan Díaz, in the Panama district, this impressive complex offers a wide variety of top-tier sports facilities, including football, flag football, basketball, volleyball, paddle tennis, and kickball courts.
Not only does it stand out for the variety of sports it hosts, but also for the quality of its facilities, such as the exclusive 5-a-side soccer fields and an 11-a-side soccer field with a capacity for 1,100 spectators.
The complex also features social areas with a diverse gastronomic offer and a Sports Bar. Additionally, it has event areas with a capacity for over 3,000 people and nearly 500 parking spaces for the convenience of attendees.
OPTIMUS Technology for COS Sports Plaza
OPTIMUS has played a significant role in the technological setup of COS Sports Plaza, where we have provided an advanced and versatile sound system. The system distributes sound through three networked COMPACT matrices: one for the main grandstand speakers, another for the field and common area speakers, and the third for the other sports fields and the "oasis" area. With a total power of 7,000 W RMS, the system powers speakers of various types, including high-quality two-way acoustic projectors (FR-30T), 30 W acoustic boxes (BS-30WHQ), 100 W (BS-208T), and 250 W (PRO-250B).
We highlight the versatility of the COMPACT system as an audio matrix, which controls music inputs, the signal from the central DC-700ETH/T unit, and other remote audio signals, such as those from wireless microphones and other equipment connected to small wall preamplifiers PM-2EU.
