The German multinational BASF, specialist in the chemical industry, has a production center in Guadalajara with an area of 310,000 m2 and approximately 600 employees, with four modern production plants, two of paint, one for the production of intermediate resins and the fourth of products for construction. OPTIMUS has supplied the public address and voice alarm system, in a decentralized installation with 9 units of the COMPACT audio matrix (certified EN 54), distributed by the different buildings and linked by the data network, with management of local and global messages (live or pre recorded). The total power available in the system is 11,000 W, to feed the ceiling speakers and exponential speakers, EN 54-24 certified, in addition to the ATEX exponential speakers in areas with explosive atmospheres, the existing speaker lines and the future extensions.
