The South Africa National Energy Association (SANEA) has recognized the Bokpoort (Northern Cape, South Africa) solar thermal plant as the "Best Renewable Energy Project of 2016" as the pioneer of the South African industry in the renewable energy sector and for the contribution that renewable energies make to the socio-economic development of local communities. The public address system has been made with UP-ETH digital power units of the OPTIMAX series, linked by data network and managed remotely by a digital microphone desk DC-600ETH and a configuration and control computer. The loudspeakers are horn-type of 10 and 30 W, weatherproof with degree of protection IP65, for outdoor areas, and 6" ceiling speakers for indoor areas.
