The Colombian Bucaramanga - Barrancabermeja - Yondó highway, 152 km length, has been improved with new sections, bridges, viaducts and tunnels. The changes in this infrastructure, located in eastern Colombia and where oil production is concentrated, save the Serranía de La Paz, connect the departments of Antioquia and Santander with the Magdalena River and is part of the corridor towards Venezuela. The two tunnels, La Paz and La Sorda, are in total 5,96 km and have around 500 horn speakers of 10 and 30 W RMS distributed along their tubes. Control of the voice alarm system is performed by an OPTIMAX2, system, with a DC-800ETH console with integrated microphone, a UMX-03 audio matrix and several IF-8P4/ETH modular amplifiers, which also have audio matrix and IP interface, hosting 460 RMS W modules up to a total of approximately 15,000 W RMS installed power. The system works in a network and allows the equipment distributed along the tunnel to be installed.
