La Piedras Shopping is a large commercial complex located in one of the most populated areas of Uruguay, with more than 120 commercial stores, several movie theaters, a hypermarket and a complete gastronomic offer in its 38,000 m2. According to its website, "an architectural concept that privileges the space and the interior luminosity in harmony with the generosity of the exterior areas". The system of public address and voice alarm has been entrusted to the COMPACT system, with class D power units of the DA series, a micro-desk MD-30C and the configuration and control program SCM-01. More than 370 loudspeakers have been needed for the sound of all commercial premises and common areas, mostly the A-258MAC ceiling speaker that provides high sound quality, high sound pressure and full intelligibility.
