SMC series of OPTIMUS in the main hospitals of Palencia
The University Care Complex of Palencia is formed by the Río Carrión Hospital and the San Telmo Hospital, as well as the Specialty Center in Cervera de Pisuerga. Recently, several types of equipment have been renewed and an intercommunication and patient-nurse signalling system of the SMC series of OPTIMUS has been installed in the two hospitals, substantially improving the safety of inpatient care. The rooms are equipped with multifunctional TH-03F intercoms, U-PB bathroom call mechanisms and call points next to the beds, combining U-PT wall modules with the U-ML hand controls. The LP-2LF signalling lamps have been installed in the corridors to facilitate the identification of the origin and type of the call immediately, and the KB-10F kits have been selected for the assisted toilets, which are autonomous and can be integrated into SMC system as additional call points. In total, 16 CC-123F general-purpose control units, 4 touch-screen control units for information management and more than 200 units of TH-03F have been supplied for the control of nearly 400 call points.
